Thomas Wyatt, my 19 month old only grandchild, spent Sunday afternoon with me. He is such a little doll and his Nana thinks he hung the moon!
We watched cartoons on t.v., ate animal crackers and homemade cookies, played with blocks, rocked and read children's books and had a great time just being together.
TW cracks me up when he wants to share his animal crackers and sticks one in my mouth. Then, he shows me his teeth and grinds and clicks them together like he is showing me how to chew the cracker.
He has lots of toys to play with at my house but seems to prefer an empty box or egg carton, loves looking at himself in the mirror and likes to look out my backdoor at birds, or dogs or an occasional cat that passes by my house.
Thomas Wyatt's mom and dad say they have a hard time getting him to drink juice at home but he loves Nana's orange juice and had three big glasses during the course of the afternoon. Everything tastes better at Nanas!
Nana can't wait until spring when we can go for walks and I can pull him in his big, red wagon.
I can't believe he is already 19 months old. It seems like only yesterday that we brought him home from the hospital.

What a handsome boy! My handsome little boy is now almost 18 (this coming June). You wonder where the 19 months went??? Seems like only yesterday I was laying on the floor with Thomas playing with foam blocks or just making silly faces at one another. Well... he's still my baby. Even if he is now twice my size. :-)
Judy, he is beautiful. Oh the wonderful times you have in store.
Wait until he can talk to you.
Thanks for your comment on my journal. Have a great day.
What a gorgeous little boy, Judy. Love those blue-eyed blondes!!!!! The first grandchild is SO special. I have five --and that first one is 15 now. Yipes!!!
SO--enjoy him every minute you can.
Hugs,
Betsy
"Everything tastes better at Nannas". that should be a slogan. How true is that? My nanna and I were best friends and how I miss her. I would have done anything for her.
Thomas Wyatt is the most precious boy - gorgeous colouring with those big blue eyes. Like Grandma too.
Thanks for posting - it will be interesting to see how he grows up.
Take Care
Hi Judy!
:)
Has the blog always given you problems or just today? Ill check on that, but so far...yes you have been the lone voice...but I still value the info to be sure!
I'm a Nanny...no grandma here... :)
Don't you just them up! I can never get enough!
TW is growing up fast (like kids do), and you are making the most of your time together.
Yep, things always taste better at Nana's or Grandma's or Granny's. I remember how delicious my Gramilo's cinnamon toast was... why was it SO good? Her rice with milk and sugar was yummy also, as well.
TW is so cute! I think he likes looking at himself in the mirror because he's thinking, "Who IS that adorable boy?!"
:-)
Good Judy glad it appears to be working better :)
He is so adorable. I just want to hug him.
Hi Judy, I have to say that Thomas Wyatt is a beautiful child. Isn't is funny how children would rather play with something simple rather than something expensive. These are the years that we enjoy the hear and now. That's what grandchildren are for - now.
Hugs,
Sweetie
Judy what an adorable boy, someone to be proud of. How lucky we are to have grandchildrem? Enjoyed the blog very much.
Take care.
Yvonne.
What an adorable child. There is nothing better then grandchildren. I often tell my boys the only reason I had them was to get grandbabies. Thank goodness the obliged me by giving me 2.
What a beautiful little guy! Wow! I know how much you must enjoy having him visit. Love your pictures!
Judy, I know he is one cute little boy, and you must bust your buttons when you hold him. I'm crazy about my 9 little boys, so I can appreciate how you feel.
Love you blog again today, now that I've caught up a little more. Blessings -
Thomas Wyatt is such a beautiful boy, Judy. I especially love that first shot of him looking out Nana's back door. He looks so serious, as though he is contemplating the great mysteries of the universe. I'll bet he was looking at a bird flying by and wondering when he'd be able to do that. :-)
You know, he will always remember those special times with Nana. Always.
Hi Judy, thank you for coming by. Your grandson is soo cute and I use to pull my only grandson around in his red wagon, now he is 21 years old and taller than I am, the years seem to fly by.
He is sooooo cute. Don't you want to just((HUG))him?
Aunty Balisha
Isn't he just the cutest thing EVER???
Love ya!
Leigh
Dear Judy,
He is just tooooo adorable. How very fortunate you are to have a grandchild so close to you. All of ours are too far away to see more than one time a year (if we are lucky).
Just too sweet.
Love,
Ruby
He is such a darling! I'm sure he brings great joy to everyone he meets.
They are so cute at that age. Darling grandson you have there.
Hi Judy, he gets cuter all the time. Don't you love him to pieces? If I had known I was going to love my grandchildren so much, I would have had them first. LOL
He's simply beautiful and I adored your description of the day's events!
Those little ones grow up way too fast for us grandmas, don't they? I don't remember that my own kids grew that fast! :)
He sure is a handsome and happy little guy!
Hello! First time here. Your grandson is so cute! He reminds me a lot of the way my nephew was at his age (my nephew is 5 1/2 now). They grow up so fast!
