DOES THIS CARTOON REMIND YOU OF YOURSELF?

That's my twin daughters, Leigh and Anne, on the rock in the cartoon. Leigh sent this to me this morning in an e-mail with the subject line, "the story of my life"!

I thought it was hilarious because I could picture them in some kind of situation just like this.

The funny thing is that I am the exact opposite.

I am always early for appointments. I seldom ever procrastinate or put things off.

The girls say I am a neat freak! I think I am far from it.

We drive each other crazy but at least we can laugh about it and know that this kind of thing is trivial compared to being there for each other and having a great relationship.

Are you always running late for appointments or putting things off till another day?

I saw this cartoon a while back and it took me some time to catch on that they are dinosaurs....thus the extinction thing. I have two daughters-one is always late, and one is like me, always on time or early. Your are right that being there for each other and having a great relationship is what matters.

Running late? - Never! putting things off? - Mmmmm - Yeah. Sometimes.

But if I have an appointment, I'm always early. Sometimes ridiculously so.

I'm like Bobbie, never late for appointments, but put things off -- hmmmm 'fraid so! But I try to strike a happy medium!

Fun post, Judy!

I never miss appointments, but I'm an expert at putting things off. It's sad, but true.

that is so funny....I used to be early, but, after waiting for friends who were always late, I thought why try...so I am usually late with friends, on time for family and WORK,

When I was first married, I use to drive my hubby crazy being late for things, now I am the opposite. Have a nice weekend.

Hi Judy, I am more like you--more organized and always on time. I've always been that way and get frustrated at people who procrastinate.

Luckily George is organized also---so even though we don't clean the house as much as we should, we at least keep things in order and not cluttery... We make a good team.

I had a friend when I lived in New Orleans who was the worst procrastinator I had ever known. She would drive me insane!!!!! ha ha

Cute post...

Betsy

I'm usually on time and have calendar reminders set everywhere, but that isn't to say I still won't miss some event or appointment. My daughter used to be the SLOWEST person on earth. She has gotten a lot better, especially after some of her sister's friends started making fun of her about it.

Oh yes...I don't have my Halloween decorations out yet, but I haven't had much time. Yea...that's the ticket.

if it needs doing I do it and I am never late, I have even been known to be a day early!

Ha,ha...well, as a matter of fact, at this very moment I really should be cleaning our bathroom but here I am reading blogs! So I guess I'd have to own up to being a procrastinator, but I do try to get to appointments on time! My daughter is even worse than I am---she always drove me crazy putting off major school assignments until the last minute. But as you say, Judy, all that really matters in the end is the love.

Great post! I love that cartoon.

Funny cartoon. Sorry, I'm one of those compulsive neat freaks who thrives on cleanliness and order. Nope, this farm chick is never late for anything, I'll always arrive early. Some might say I take it way over the top. OK, so maybe I need help. HaaHeeeHeeheee! :o)

Have a great day and God bless!!!

Well, I'm never late for appointments, but I have been known to forget them altogether. I have to really keep a watch on my calendar these days. Once upon a time I could keep it all in my head, but not anymore.

I do put things off occasionally, but I am not a late person. I don't like to be late for anything!

But organized? Nah...not so much...I wish I were better at that.

Hey, Judy,
I am one of the world's worst for procrastination, but am always on time or early for appointments. I am not a neat freak, but have one daughter who is,and one who takes after me, in that she is not a neat freak, except she is often really running late. hmmmm. I love the cartoon.
Love,
Ruby
